Every country on Earth made a commitment to reduce pollution, except Syria and now the United States.
The 195 countries above have all signed the Paris Agreement. The only other country that didn’t sign, in addition to war-torn Syria is Nicaragua, because it is making an even bigger commitment towards the environment. We sorted the countries from top to bottom based on the percentage of greenhouse gases for ratification.
The U.S. is one of the top three countries with greenhouse gas emissions — the leading cause for global warming. Donald Trump is withdrawing the U.S. from the agreement claiming that it would hurt the economy, but clean energy already employs almost 3 times more people than the coal industry.
We are an American creative digital agency and we are ashamed of Donald Trump, but we will not stand still. Join us in supporting nonprofits making a difference.
